Karen LeDoux is a certified health counselor, a 200 hr RYT, barre instructor and meditation teacher. Karen worked in a corporate environment and was an avid runner for 20 years when she left to pursue her passion for health and wellness. Years of sitting and typing took an unexpected toll on her physically resulting in recurring back/neck and knee problems. At the age of 27 an orthopedic surgeon reported that she would likely not be able to run or continue to be active after the age of 35 due to spinal degeneration and recommended surgery. Not willing to accept that line of care, Karen began changing her lifestyle to include yoga, meditation, barre in addition to dietary changes. After successfully restoring her own function, strength and flexibility, her passion is to guide others through the process. Fourteen years following that diagnosis, Karen is now pain free- proving that age doesn't have to equal increasing dysfunction and pain. Karen enjoys a career in health and wellness, travel, hiking and running.
